Olivia (right) and Leo (left) are two golden retrievers owned by Xuhang – and considered full-fledged family members. Believe it or not, Leo is actually Olivia’s son, though they have very different personalities and appearances. Olivia and Leo proudly serve as honorary members of the lab, officially in charge of emotional support. Olivia is appointed as the Chief Emotional Support Officer of the lab, with her direct report, Leo, being an Emotional Support Associate. All lab members are welcome to visit their home (which they share with Xuhang and his wife, Dr. Huiya Yang) for some much-needed furry love. They also take responsibility for organizing our annual lab retreats, where they’ll happily host and hang out with the human members of the lab.
